Soprano, Renée Rybolt, fulfills her musical life as a teacher, vocalist, and choir director in the Houston area. An Indiana native, Renée moved to Houston to begin her career in 2011. As a choral singer, Renée has sung with Cantare Houston, Sola Stella, and is a current choir member and frequent soloist of Bach Society Houston. Ms. Rybolt has had the privilege to sing solos in concerts with Ars Lyrica, Mercury, and River Oaks Chamber Orchestra.

Ms. Rybolt has appeared as soprano soloist in Handel’s Messiah, Dubois’ The Seven Last Words of Christ, Pärt’s Miserere, Lloyd Webber’s Requiem, and Poulenc’s Gloria. As a J.S. Bach enthusiast, Renee has performed arias, in St. Matthew Passion, St. John Passion, Mass in B Minor, Easter Oratorio, Magnificat, and countless cantatas.

Renée’s love of choral music led her to the position of Director of Choral Ministry at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Bellaire. She also teaches private voice lessons in the Katy area.

Renée received her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Saint Joseph’s College and Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Southern Illinois University.
